Weather conditions affect the rate of evaporation or the amount of water plants need. Weather data from local weather stations is sent by wireless signal to Weather Reach Receivers to control the watering system. By measuring evaporation and rainfall landscapes can be precisely watered.

A Weather Reach Signal Provider uses the Weather Reach Server to manage a network of weather stations and broadcast the Weather Reach Signal.

Weather Reach Receivers adapt to almost all sprinkler controllers and use the broadcast weather information to manage landscape watering.
