Northern Colorado Water Conservancy District Formal Study

The Northern Colorado Water Conservancy District conducted a controlled field test during the summer of 2003. Four weather-based control systems were used to manage irrigation systems. A tipping bucket rain collector was used to measure the water applied by the irrigation systems. Test was conducted from May 27 to September 2, 2003. Brent Mecham published the results and presented them as part of a Turf Field Day in Berthoud, Colorado on September 3, 2003. The published results were:
