Watering is not needed in the rain. The Weather Reach Receiver uses rain data either from an on-site rain gauge installed with the receiver, or from your local Weather Station. Depending on the timing and intensity of a rainstorm, the Weather Reach Receiver will either interrupt the watering cycle or delay it until watering is needed.

The Weather Reach Receiver maintains a moisture balance. Rainfall is subtracted from the irrigation requirement moisture balance and ET is added to it. An interrupt can also be programmed to immediately stop watering during a watering cycle if a programmed limit is reached.
